I was at a workshop the other week, and after explaining what I do for a living, the woman responded that people practice their English skills in so many interesting ways. She mentioned that she once met a cab driver who said that one of the reasons he chose his profession was so that he could practice his English as much as possible.
After our conversation, I decided to interview a few people to see how they practice and generalize what they learn in their everyday worlds. There were a lot of common responses such as: watching tv and listening to music, practicing with native English speakers and finding conversation partners.
